High-Risk Munitions Specialist

We are seeking talented engineers to join our team in Canberra.
- Conduct engineering analysis, including failure mode analysis and hazard identification.
- Characterise and communicate risk, proposing effective mitigations using the hierarchy of controls.
- Update and maintain product configuration baselines.
Our ideal candidate will have knowledge, skills & experience in:
- Previously held a delegation of Engineer or higher under MEOSPO, AEOSPO or LEOSPO with supporting evidence.
- Specialist training in explosives ordnance.
- Experience producing design documents and specialist engineering reports.
- Experience producing contract documentation, plans and reports.
Tertiary qualifications in an engineering field and specialist training in guided weapons engineering are essential. Previous explosive ordnance certification experience aligned with AOP 15 requirements is also necessary.
Candidates must hold an NV1 Australian Defence security clearance.
