Our organization is seeking an experienced Senior Explosive Ordnance Specialist to join our team in Canberra.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in explosive ordnance acquisition, with experience in managing and addressing risk. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work closely with clients and colleagues.

This role involves working on multi-million dollar projects that are at the cutting edge of innovation in Defence munitions and the creation of sovereign defence capability. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing weapon plans for Maritime and Munitions capabilities, planning and preparing integration activities, and supporting certification activities for explosive ordnance.

In addition to their technical expertise, the Senior Explosive Ordnance Specialist will need to possess excellent project management skills, including budget management, risk management, and reporting. They will also need to be able to support the introduction into service of new capabilities through MARBs and Seaworthiness activities.
