Job Description

**About the Role**

CRC Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Lead / Registered Architect to join our team. As a key member of our architectural practice, you will be responsible for leading various projects, including health, laboratory, and commercial developments.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Project Management**: Lead projects of varying scales, ensuring successful delivery from design through to completion.
  • **Client Relationships**: Manage and nurture client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • **Business Development**: Drive business development initiatives to expand the firm's portfolio.
  • **Team Leadership**: Mentor and develop junior architects and team members.
  • **Project Coordination**: Conduct on-site measurements, including advanced lidar scanning techniques.
  • **Design and Documentation**: Create and refine concept drawings, Revit models, and detailed return briefs.
  • **Collaboration**: Coordinate with engineers and services consultants to ensure project alignment with client needs and regulatory standards.
  • **Project Meetings**: Facilitate and lead project meetings, site inspections, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • **Project Administration**: Develop and manage comprehensive project documentation that complies with all relevant codes and legislation.
  • **Contract Administration**: Oversee contract administration and provide construction phase assistance as needed.

**Requirements**

  • **Qualifications**: Registered Architect (or nearing completion of registration)
  • **Experience**: Minimum of 7 years of post-degree experience in New South Wales.
  • **Project Leadership**: Proven track record of leading projects.
  • **Local Experience**: 5 years of local project leadership experience.
  • **Software Skills**: Experienced with Revit, a minimum of 5 years Revit experience.
  • **Project Management**: Demonstrated ability to manage medium-scale projects independently.
  • **Regulatory Knowledge**: Strong understanding of the BCA, NCC, and Australian Standards.
  • **Construction Documentation**: Experience in construction documentation and administration for complex projects such as commercial, health, or laboratory buildings.
