Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Capacity Building and Community Inclusion Specialist to join our team in Outer Gippsland. This role is a key part of our commitment to developing and implementing strategies that enhance community capacity and promote inclusion for children with disabilities and their families.
Responsibilities- Community Capacity Building Plan: Develop and implement an annual plan to build the capacity of the community to be more inclusive of people with disabilities, including vulnerable groups such as CALD, First Nations, LGBTIQ+, and the socially disadvantaged.
- Action Delivery: Deliver actions and outcomes outlined in the Capacity Building Plan, ensuring effective coordination and marketing of promotional events and activities.
- Event Planning: Plan, coordinate, and participate in key promotional and capacity-building events and activities to drive community engagement and participation.
- Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education
- A current Working with Children Check (Employee) or VIT Registration
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (can be obtained during application)
- An estimated salary of $49,832.40 - $53,175.30 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
