ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting time for us, as we have an exciting opportunity for a Diversity & Inclusion Specialist within our People & Culture department. We’re looking for someone to help shape Cricket Australia’s Diversity & Inclusion strategy and support the delivery of projects and initiatives under it. If you consider yourself championing inclusion within cricket, we want to hear from you. We have big ambitions for this space, so we’re looking for drive, passion, and energy to bring our plans to life.
Reporting to the Head of Social Impact & Sustainability, you’ll be responsible for:
- Coordinating Cricket Australia’s Diversity & Inclusion working group
- Supporting the Head of Social Impact & Sustainability in the engagement of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cricket Advisory Committee and Cricket Australia’s Reconciliation Action Plan working group
- Lead the delivery and some actions under Cricket Australia’s Reconciliation Action Plan, Multicultural Action Plan, Women & Girls Action Plan and Pride in Sport Action Plan
- Supporting the delivery of the National Cricket Inclusion Championships, National Inclusion Teams camps and tournaments, National Indigenous Cricket Championships and National Indigenous Teams camps and tournaments in a manner that showcases cricket as a sport for all
- Providing advice and support to all departments to ensure our people processes, programs, events, marketing and communications, champion inclusion
- Developing D&I policy documents and processes and maintaining a dashboard of D&I metrics for reporting requirements

- Tertiary qualifications in relevant field
- Influencing skills and stakeholder management experience
- The ability to think strategically, creatively and on a national level
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to present information confidently
- Strong time management and project management skills to take initiative and deliver to timeframes
- Genuine commitment to championing inclusion
