Transformative Data Engineer Role

Overview

A unique opportunity exists to shape the future of data and analytics platforms by designing, developing, and deploying innovative technology solutions. This role requires a collaborative mindset and strong technical expertise to lead engineers in implementing complex technical solutions in a cloud-based environment.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in a public cloud environment, ideally AWS, and demonstrate a solid understanding of Quantexa architecture, core ETL, and scoring concepts. Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing data integration workflows for efficient data movement and transformation, implementing data quality checks, data validation, and error handling to maintain data integrity and accuracy.

In addition, this role involves working closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and providing technical mentoring to the team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.

Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Entity resolution and scoring concepts, as well as experience with Quantexa version > 2.5 and upgrading Quantexa applications. A proven track record of creating documentation and design artefacts for software developers, cyber security reviews, and other stakeholders is also desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient in designing solutions to meet business requirements and building ETL and scoring pipelines
  • Experience with AWS cloud services and EMR, Spark Scala
  • Strong understanding of modern Software Development Lifecycle and risk management practices
