About the Role

This is a key position in our organization, responsible for delivering enterprise architecture and solution design for banking and financial services clients.

As a Lead Data Solution Designer/Consultant, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and client technical teams to define requirements and technical specifications for data transfer, ingestion, and transformation.

Key Skills & Experience
  • At least 8 years of experience working as a Solution Consultant in a Data Engineering space in a fast-paced environment and complex business setting.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and/or functional areas in the financial services industry.
  • Expert knowledge of SQL, strong programming background for data exploration/analysis, and solution prototyping capabilities.
  • Experience working with cloud big data platforms such as AWS GCP.
  • Experience in building and maintaining reliable and scalable ETL on big data platforms as well as experience working with varied forms of data infrastructure inclusive of AWS S3, Apache Hive on S3, Spark SQL.
Technical Capabilities
  • Customer centricity: Engage internal customers and stakeholders to develop initial requests and ideas into real-world solutions and implementations.
  • Experience in providing consulting services to clients towards the adoption of cloud-based technologies and implementation of cloud-based data platforms.
  • Substantial experience and deep knowledge of data modelling techniques, and relational and non-relational databases.
Non-Technical Capabilities
  • Soft skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to be able to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
  • Ability to work within complex and challenging data environments.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with internal, analytics, reporting and data teams.
Educational Qualification
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent quantitative discipline.
