Big Data Developer

A key contributor to the success of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data-driven solutions.

As a Big Data Developer, you will design and build scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes. This will involve assisting in the development of efficient data workflows, ensuring seamless integration with disparate data sources through batch and real-time streaming processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building, and managing scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes.
  • Supporting data integration efforts by connecting disparate data sources seamlessly using batch and real-time streaming processes.
  • Developing data models and schemas to enhance data warehousing solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Utilizing programming skills to automate data workflows, ensuring efficient processing and transformation.
  • Maintaining data quality and integrity through implementation of validation and error handling mechanisms in data pipelines.

We are seeking an experienced professional with:

  • 2+ years of experience delivering data pipelines in a business environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling clear conveyance of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Technical skills including strong programming skills in Python, hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks or Snowflake), and experience with data engineering and pipelines (SQL, ETL/ELT, distributed systems).
