As a key contributor to our strategic growth, the Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in acquiring new clients and delivering tailored workforce solutions that foster business expansion.

The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen, a proven track record of successful client acquisition, and superior business development skills.

They will be an ambitious and driven self-starter with a solid network of potential clients, adept at building strong relationships and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively acquiring new clients and selling tailored workforce solution services
  • Closely partnering and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to understand client needs and offer bespoke employment solutions
  • Managing customer relationships to achieve sustained success and drive business growth

Successful applicants will have:

  • Sales Acumen: A high level of sales expertise and understanding of client needs
  • Results-Oriented: A proven track record of successful client acquisition and superior business development skills
  • Industry Knowledge (desirable): Familiarity with the VET sector and current trends influencing the apprenticeship sector
  • Sector Experience: Experience within the Construction, Manufacturing, and IT sectors is desirable
  • Relationship Management: Active management of customer relationships to achieve sustained success
  • Networking: The ability to proactively build a strong network of relationships with prospective clients, RTOs, employer associations, and industry stakeholders
  • Communication Skills: Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Digital Literacy: High proficiency in various Microsoft Suite applications and programs
  • Driver's License and ability to travel
