Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Cost Planning Specialist to enhance our Brisbane operations. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for developing strategies that secure projects while collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals. This role requires hands-on involvement in cost planning for both repeat and early contractor involvement (ECI) projects, as well as hard dollar tendering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Buildsoft and/or CostX software.
  • Assess project specifics and client expectations for design and construct (D&C) projects that lack complete documentation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local subcontractors and gain insights into the regional market.
  • A strong background in Quantity Surveying (QS) is highly advantageous.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams on tender schedules and project feasibility.
  • Prepare subcontractor packages and bills of quantities while developing strategies for tender submissions.
  • Engage in post-tender negotiations.
  • Compile contract and costing documentation for construction teams.
  • Exhibit confidence in client-facing interactions.
