About the Role

As a Team Leader within the Paraplanning team at Perpetual Wealth Management, you will play a pivotal role in delivering quality paraplanning services and strategic advice support to Advisers, Partners, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the National Paraplanning team to ensure effective and consistent support to Senior Advisers, Trust Managers, and their clients.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and onboarding support to team members as needed.
  • Collaborate with Advisers, Partners, Associate Advisers, and other specialists to develop tailored advice and investment strategies that deliver optimal client outcomes.
  • Generate comprehensive advice documents (SOAs and ROAs) within agreed time frames and service standards.
  • Meet individual quality and productivity targets while preparing financial calculations, modeling, and detailed cash flow analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and enhance internal tools and templates.
  • Contribute to risk and compliance management by implementing measures, controls, and activities that meet corporate and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in paraplanning.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Excellent investigate, analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of investment principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills are an advantage.
  • PC literate (Word & Excel).
  • Previous experience with XPLAN financial planning software is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
