About this Role

Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is seeking an experienced Electrical Leading Hand to join their expanding team in the Southern Region of Sydney. As a key member of the Electrical Construction team, you will be responsible for leading a team of electricians and apprentices to deliver high-quality electrical services to Sydney Water's customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of electricians and apprentices to deliver electrical services to Sydney Water's customers
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, complying with all relevant safety policies and procedures
  • Perform tasks such as installation of cable support systems, installation of new cable runs, and installation of new and upgraded switchboards and starters
  • Read and interpret site plans and drawings to ensure accurate installation and commissioning of electrical equipment
  • Maintain and adhere to site safety standards, and assist other work crews as required
Requirements
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering
  • NSW electrical licence or equivalent
  • OHS induction card
  • Previous electrical construction experience, with a focus on leading teams and ensuring safety and quality
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and drawings, and to perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner
