About this role

Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is seeking an experienced Electrical Leading Hand to join their expanding team in the Southern Region of Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of electrical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of electricians and apprentices in the delivery of electrical construction projects
  • Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of projects, adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Perform tasks in compliance with all environmental policies and procedures to reduce the risk of environmental harm
  • Accountability to safely conduct role within D4C and Sydney Water's safety, compliance, and environmental policies
  • Perform regular inspections, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Fault finding and rectification, including reporting
  • Installation and testing of new equipment
  • Travel across the southern region as required
Requirements
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
  • NSW electrical licence or equivalent
  • OHS induction card
  • Previous Electrical construction experience
  • A safety first mindset
  • Experience in the safe isolation and re-energisation of equipment (Lock out/Tag out)
  • Understanding and application of leading policies and procedures
  • Drivers licence essential
  • Current or willingness to obtain Working at heights, Confined space, LV Rescue, CPR and First aid certifications
Operational Information
  • Permanent – fulltime role Mon to Fri 7am start
  • Favourable hourly rate, plus shift penalties, allowances and overtime
