Senior Transport Consultant

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Transport Engineer to join our transport advisory team in Brisbane. As a senior consultant, you will be working on various projects across the region and have the chance to grow your career while contributing to impactful outcomes.

  • Conduct intersection analysis and/or traffic modelling to inform transportation strategies.
  • Analyse signal timing, parking, and traffic data to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Develop innovative solutions for traffic engineering design, including swept path assessments, site access, and car parking layout reviews.
  • Undertake intersection and corridor studies to identify areas for improvement.
  • Document traffic impact assessments (TIAs) to support project development.
  • Prepare proposals, technical reports, and presentations to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders.
  • Manage client relationships and collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality results.

Experience Required:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 2–6 years of experience in Transportation Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in traffic engineering and transport planning.
  • Experience with traffic modelling software (e.g., SIDRA, VISSIM, AutoTurn, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
