Principal Engineers are sought to develop and implement complex traffic management systems, technologies, applications, specifications and analysis to support effective leadership to teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Project manage the development and implementation of traffic management systems, technologies, applications, specifications and analysis.
- Provide guidance, advice and support on ITS, traffic engineering and signal design suitability and options.
- Prepare and deliver professional and technical advice, submissions and briefs relating to road network signalised and un-signalised intersections and active traffic management systems.
- Participate in the monitoring and measurement of road network operational performance, traffic demands and user safety.
Requirements
- A four-year, Washington Accord accredited, Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent assessed/accepted by Engineers Australia against Washington Accord benchmarks.
- Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
- A current 'C' class driver's licence.
