Job Description

As a Defence Systems Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing specialist on-site maintenance services to ADATS air traffic management systems.
  • Ensuring programme and individual compliance with maintenance requirements in accordance with contract specifications.
  • Producing reports and responding to customer requests.
  • Supporting programme and individual compliance with the ADATS Maintenance Management Plan.
  • Liaising with management, subcontractors and customers as a subject matter expert.
  • Performing installation and testing activities in support of engineering change proposals.
  • Providing on-site customer training where required.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in electronics or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience in the maintenance of air traffic management systems (ATMS) and/or aircraft systems.
  • Knowledge of RAAF engineering and/or maintenance systems and procedures relating to ATMS.
  • Solid experience in workplace health and safety practices as related to working outdoors, at heights, on electronic equipment and in office environments.
