Chef Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by providing delicious and nutritious meals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meal Preparation: Responsible for preparing meals according to menus designed by the Head Chef, ensuring that meals are nutritious, appealing, and meet specific dietary needs.
  • Special Diets: Accommodate special dietary requirements, such as texture-modified diets, to cater to unique health conditions and preferences of residents.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards to prevent foodborne illnesses and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished dishes, ensuring they meet high standards in taste, appearance, and portion sizes.
  • Collaboration with Kitchen Staff: Work as part of a team in the kitchen, collaborating with other kitchen staff, to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery): Required qualification for this role.
