Climate Reporting Policy Lead

An exciting opportunity to lead the development of climate-related reporting policies and disclosures, working closely with key stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of the Group's climate-related reporting policies and guidance in accordance with Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS).
  • Support the preparation of the Group's climate-related financial disclosures in the Annual Report and develop pro forma disclosures that comply with ASRS.
  • Develop and present training on current and future climate-related financial disclosure standards.

Requirements:

  • Excellent technical accounting knowledge - GAAP/IFRS with a focus on standards relevant to QBE's business.
  • Strong project management and planning capabilities to coordinate the review of climate reporting policies and disclosures.
  • Proven experience of dealing with people at all levels in the organisation, strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to negotiate, persuade and influence within a global team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
