- Understand and interpret client needs, clearly communicating goals and objectives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct data analysis using tools such as Excel and GIS, creating tailored reports and modelling scenarios.
- Develop compelling presentations and reports for clients, presenting clear narratives and informing decisions.
- Support new business generation by drafting proposals with oversight from senior team members.
- Grow professional contacts by representing the company at events, conferences, and panels.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (Master's Degree preferred).
- Demonstrated understanding of core concepts of climate science.
- Possession of passion and interest in sustainability and sustainable business practices.
- Strong knowledge of climate change strategy, including:
- GHG accounting and corporate carbon footprint development, including Scope 3.
- Net-zero, carbon neutral, and other frameworks (including SBTi).
- Decarbonisation strategies.
- Climate change risk assessments for organisations, including climate scenario analysis.
- Familiarity with Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS), TCFD recommendations, and IFRS S2.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to distil quantitative and qualitative data and communicate it succinctly to clients.
