
Culinary Operations Leader

The successful applicant will lead our culinary team, overseeing the delivery of high-quality meals while maintaining compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, experience in performance management, and the ability to implement change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily kitchen operations to meet dietary needs.
- Supervise and mentor staff to achieve a positive team culture.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety legislation and guidelines.
- Manage stock levels, equipment maintenance, and budgetary requirements.
- Oversee menu planning, catering requests, and meal quality assurance.
- Respond to customer feedback and complaints professionally.
- Conduct regular audits and maintain accurate records.
- Trade Certificate in Cooking and Food Safety Supervisor (Health).
- Proven experience in leadership and performance management.
- Extensive experience in hospitality or healthcare catering.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (ISO 22000, HACCP) and OH&S.
- Understanding of texture-modified diets and dietary restrictions/allergens.
- Ability to implement food preparation processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
