Job Overview

The Data Center Operations Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of data center operations, including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management, and metric reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the on-site management of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure all work performed adheres to established practices, procedures, and local legislation.
  • Maintain performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  • Generate change management requests and incident management tickets as directed.
  • Liaise with Infra Ops teams for day-to-day operational requirements.
  • Participate in construction and operational meetings as required.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with facilities management principles.
  • Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Physical Security protocol awareness.
  • Computer literate, confident with Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
