Technical Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Technical Coordinator to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality technical and 3D modelling services for our project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to relevant policies, including participating in regular audits.
  • Develop and enforce technical standards and procedures.
  • Establish and manage the drawing review and management system, including revision control and storage.
  • Oversee the development and integration of 3D models from OEMs and internal teams.
  • Prioritise and allocate technical tasks in collaboration with the Engineering Manager.
  • Create detailed drawings for tender, construction, and fabrication purposes.
  • Develop and update 3D models.
  • Ensure all technical work is completed to relevant national and international standards.
  • Project Delivery:
    • Ensure tasks are completed on time and aligned with project scope.
    • Actively manage risks and contribute to achieving a zero-harm project outcome.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of technical experience, including multi-disciplined capital projects in heavy industry.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor 3D software, and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel and Project).
  • Strong understanding of engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.
  • Ability to manage risks and prioritise tasks effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Familiarity with Australian and industry standards and regulations.
