Role Overview


The company is looking for a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. This is a hands-on role that requires strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage maintenance and repair work for facilities and plant equipment
  • Lead efforts to upgrade plant/facility for efficiency, safety, and reliability
  • Ensure compliance with plant regulatory requirements
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs, including knowledge of injection moulding machines and their ancillaries
  • Responsible for site infrastructure and facilities maintenance
  • Prepare and update ISO procedures in conjunction with the QA Manager
  • Participate and manage ISO audits
  • Responsible for upkeep of spare parts management system
  • Develop and maintain a Plant/Equipment preventative maintenance program
  • Support production with small jigs and fixtures
  • Responsible for safe and tidy workshop
  • Lead projects involving commissioning, installation, modification, or renovation of plant and equipment
  • Collaborate with engineers and suppliers on jobs to be completed by outside contractors
  • Control costs, scheduling, and development of maintenance activities
  • Manage supplies, purchases, and budget
  • On-call emergency repairs outside regular hours

Requirements and Qualifications



  • Strong commitment to WH&S
  • Familiarity with automation system controls and PLC programming – Siemens/Unitronics
  • Strong knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical systems – speed drives SEW, Festo pneumatics, hydraulics
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills
  • Proactive approach with high attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
  • Understand manufacturing and industrial breakdowns, related to injection moulding machines and fault finding
  • Use of Word/Excel
