Clinical Sourcing Expert

As a Clinical Sourcing Expert, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing and purchasing process at our organization. Our team has developed efficient processes to enable staff to focus on their core roles of healthcare by providing timely access to necessary goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engaging with business stakeholders to align on requirements, priorities, and work plans
  • Collaborating with current and potential suppliers to understand market trends, industry best practices, and technological advancements
  • Negotiating and securing the best value goods and services to meet our needs by considering cost, quality, functionality, and sustainability while evaluating availability, time, and effort to source, and costs to manage the supplier
  • Ensuring timely storage and filing of project documentation and reporting of progress against deliverables
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require the following skills and qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or Supply Chain Management
  • Certification in Purchasing (Desirable)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong healthcare industry experience covering end-to-end sourcing of clinical products, capital, and services
  • Experience in contract establishment, ensuring terms reflect favorable risk and commercial outcomes for the organization
  • Demonstrable experience developing and sustaining relationships with key suppliers
  • Familiarity with category planning and sourcing strategy development
  • Ability to provide specialist procurement advice, guidance, and commercial support to operational and clinical stakeholders
  • Data analysis skills to facilitate performance tracking, measurement, and reporting
