Job Title: Claims Advisor

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires the management of claims from inception to resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling claims, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and negotiate claims, including communication with solicitors or direct claimants, through phone calls, correspondence, and/or attending settlement conferences and/or hearings.
  • Obtain and review medical, financial, investigative, and rehabilitation reports to assist in the accurate assessment of individual claims.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative timeframes while reviewing medical, financial, investigative, and rehabilitation reports.
  • Develop effective strategies to resolve claims in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Ensure timely access to appropriate rehabilitation to facilitate optimal recovery for injured claimants.
  • Negotiate claims settlements with solicitors in accordance with legislative, regulatory, and procedural guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders by adhering to legislation, responding promptly, and processing efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in handling CTP or personal injury claims is highly desirable.
  • Tertiary qualifications, such as Legal, Allied Health, or Insurance, are advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills, along with attention to detail, are essential.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, enabling the building of rapport and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage each claim within relevant legislative constraints.
  • A commitment to excellence and integrity in meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to workplace improvement and changes.
