About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive end-to-end operational effectiveness by embedding streamlined and efficient processes across both front and back of house.

  • Responsibilities include overseeing all back-of-house operations, ensuring seamless and efficient support functions for the store
  • Lead a team to deliver exceptional store operational excellence through effective stock management and loss prevention strategies
  • Collaborate with retail management and visual merchandising to foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance stockroom efficiency, refill processes, merchandise presentation, and stock schedule recommendations
  • Manage daily financial operations including end-of-day reconciliation, banking procedures, and secure cash handling in accordance with established policies
  • Provide training and development for the team on operational excellence, including key processes like inventory management and stock availability
  • Maintain a well-organized and efficient stockroom, adhering to established standards, managing deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining the safety and security of the stockroom
  • Identify and propose opportunities to further enhance operational efficiency via process improvements, leveraging available technology, and sharing best practices
Key Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in a stockroom or warehouse management role, ideally within a retail environment
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and processes
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve operational goals
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong understanding of WHS procedures and practices
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for stock management and reporting
