About the Position:
This is a senior executive leadership role that provides strategic direction and management of RAILS, ensuring alignment with Management Committee directions, funding agreements, legislative requirements, and professional standards.
- Pursuing the RAILS strategic plan to deliver high-quality services
- Maintaining the high performance of RAILS' legal practice, integrated services, and operational areas
- Building and sustaining close stakeholder relationships
- Effective governance of the Centre, including support for and reporting to the Management Committee
- Risk management under the Community Legal Centres Australia Risk Management Guide
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role within a legal or community service setting
- Knowledge and understanding of the community legal assistance sector
- Financial management skills, including budget development and forecasting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven experience in building and maintaining a strong team and stakeholder relationships
