About the Role

MUFG is a global leader in project finance with expertise in lending and advisory services.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and managing project origination activities to new and existing clients. Your primary objective will be to build proactive relationships with internal departments within the organization.

  • Work with senior leaders in arranging project finance transactions
  • Manage allocated project finance lending and advisory transactions
  • Manage assigned credit matters including credit papers, construction modelling, negotiation of terms, finalisation of documentation, arrangement and finalisation of due diligence, satisfying CPs etc. in regards to project finance transactions

This role involves working closely with Managing Directors and Directors in arranging project finance transactions.

You will be required to manage directly allocated project finance lending and advisory transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting and managing project origination activities to new and existing clients
  • Building proactive relationships with internal departments within the organization
  • Working closely with Managing Directors and Directors in arranging project finance transactions

Requirements
  • 4-6 years experience with relevant industry and project finance knowledge
  • Undergraduate Business/Commerce/Law degree from a leading university is essential
  • Sector or customer knowledge and experience in energy sectors including LNG will be favourably considered

We are looking for individuals with strong business and financial acumen, as well as good communication skills and the ability to influence others.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a leadership role providing guidance and mentorship to a developing team.

A strong stakeholder management skillset is also essential for collaboration with other departments.
