Job Title

Good Heat is a developer and owner of clean heat projects for industry.

We are an early stage, venture backed company seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head of Project Finance/CFO to lead our financial strategy and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Finance Leadership: Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of project finance transactions.
  • Financial Modelling: Develop robust financial models to assess project viability and return.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with banks, investors, and funding partners.
  • Due Diligence: Oversee due diligence processes and coordinate with legal and technical advisors.
Strategic Financial Management
  • Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with project objectives.
  • Cash Flow Planning: Oversee cash flow planning and treasury.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financing agreements.
  • Advisory Role: Advise on financial strategy, project risks, and investment opportunities.
Corporate Finance & Governance
  • Financial Control: Maintain strong financial control frameworks.
  • Annual Budgets: Lead annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Corporate Growth: Support growth initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Finance Background: Proven track record in finance roles and raising capital.
  • Structuring Experience: Strong background in structuring complex financing arrangements.
  • Financial Knowledge: Deep knowledge of financial modelling and risk analysis.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
  • Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
