We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Project Officer to support the Australian Sudden Cardiac Arrest Alliance (AUSCAA) Steering Committee.
About the Opportunity
This is a maximum term opportunity with hybrid working options. You will be responsible for providing critical support to the Steering Committee in setting up the Alliance's governance system. This includes leading document reviews, scoping exercises, and establishing working groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a robust governance framework for the Alliance.
- Lead document reviews, scoping exercises, and establish working groups.
- Assist in creating and disseminating governance structures and ensure progress tracking of ongoing projects.
- Coordinate communication, meetings, and reports with stakeholders and the public.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work experience in a health-related field.
- Strong knowledge of the health and medical research landscape in NSW and Australia, including funding schemes and networks.
- Experience as an Executive Officer and/or in project management.
- Proven ability to develop strategies and new initiatives.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Skilled in managing priorities, deadlines, and multitasking effectively.
- Clear, analytical thinker with a strong grasp of scientific information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Strong collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and service-oriented approach.
