Director of Health Systems Governance

This position plays a pivotal role in overseeing health systems governance activities to support Australian Defence Force (ADF) operations.
Effective health systems governance involves implementing strategic policy frameworks, providing oversight and guidance, and ensuring operational requirements are met.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing healthcare systems and resources to support ADF members on operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring health governance outcomes align with operational planning frameworks and Defence's mission and policy requirements;
- Implementing comprehensive change programs and improvement strategies;
- Collaborating with professionals to achieve team objectives and supporting the work area effectively.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- High-level governance skills, including monitoring and reporting, documentation reviews, and quality assurance checks;
- Experience in administration, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
