We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Controller to join our team at mycar. As a key member of our workshop operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient allocation of jobs to our technicians, resulting in high-quality repairs and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate jobs to technicians to optimize workflow and productivity
  • Collaborate with technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide guidance on repair solutions
  • Drive superior customer service and ensure customer satisfaction is at the forefront of all interactions
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of technicians to achieve exceptional results
  • Monitor and manage workflow to meet budgets and deadlines
  • Develop and maintain a broad range of mechanical and tyre knowledge across various vehicle brands and types

Requirements

  • Certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Automotive
  • Proven experience in managing a team of technicians
  • Strong understanding of workshop operations and workflow management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid Australian driver's licence
