Job Description

At BCS Technology, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Operations Manager to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our Application Support Team and drive the delivery of exceptional service to our customers.

About the Role
  • Lead and manage the Application Support Team, providing guidance and direction to ensure the effective resolution of technical issues and the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Prioritize and complete incidents and activities to meet required service levels, ensuring that all work is conducted in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements, driving a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
  • Contribute to the development of a strong OH&S culture, promoting safe working practices and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Support senior ICT stakeholders in the coordination of resources to effectively manage major incidents, problems, changes, releases, and other escalations.
About You

We are looking for a talented individual with:

  • Problem-solving skills in applications administration, development, and maintenance in a commercial computing environment at an Application Platform Administration/Developer level.
  • The ability to meet deadlines, commitments, and handle competing demands without compromising standards of service and quality.
  • Knowledge of BPMN practices and frameworks, as well as experience with Database System Administration and AWS cloud technologies (CI/CD pipelines and Lambda).
  • Development practices and languages, including ITIL Practices.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
