Job Title: Experienced Bookkeeper Required

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our finance function. This role requires strong technical knowledge in payroll processing, statutory compliance, and financial reconciliation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank and credit card reconciliations. They will also be responsible for full-cycle payroll processing (weekly / fortnightly) including superannuation, PAYG, and award interpretation.

Maintaining general ledger integrity and assisting with BAS, IAS, and superannuation lodgement are key responsibilities of the role. The successful candidate will also prepare month-end financial reports and assist in cash flow forecasting.

Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in bookkeeping and payroll
  • Proficient with Sage, MYOB, or similar accounting software experience
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, Modern Awards, and Fair Work requirements
  • Understanding of GST, BAS, PAYG, and Superannuation compliance
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines independently and prioritise tasks
