Leading the Justice of the Peace Branch requires exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of the Western Australian Public Sector.
About the RoleThis key leadership position involves providing strategic guidance and support to achieve the outcomes of the JP Branch, fostering close partnerships with Court management and the judiciary, and overseeing medium to large-scale projects that drive change and improvement within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement organisational policies and procedures regarding Justices of the Peace.
- Ensure compliance with legislation concerning Justices of the Peace.
- Provide leadership and support to achieve the outcomes of the JP Branch.
- Maintain close partnerships with Court management and the judiciary.
- Assist in managing and procuring assets, facilities, technology, and systems for the Branch.
Permanent positions – To be eligible for appointment in the Western Australian Public Sector, you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
