- Role Overview
- This role involves shaping the future of people strategy and partnering closely with senior leaders to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- As a strategic thinker, you will be embedded within the Human Resource Advisory & People Solutions team, influencing enterprise-wide change and aligning people strategies with global and local business priorities.
Key Accountabilities
- Strategic Partnership & Influence
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders to ensure HR strategy aligns with business objectives.
- Provide expert counsel across leadership development, workforce planning, organisational culture, and change management.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and guide the HR Advisory team, acting as deputy to the General Manager, Human Resources Australia.
- Foster a high-performance, future-ready HR function.
- Human Resource Strategy & Execution
- Design and deliver forward-looking HR plans.
- Lead enterprise projects and leverage workforce analytics to drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement.
- Employee Relations & Risk Management
- Advise on complex workforce matters and organisational change.
- Collaborate with Workplace Relations to resolve sensitive issues.
- Change Leadership
- Champion structural and cultural transformation initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with policy, timely execution, and effective communication across stakeholder groups.
- Talent & Succession Planning
- Identify and nurture key talent.
- Build robust succession pipelines and support mobility strategies where necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 15+ years' experience in strategic HR business partnering within complex, mid-to-large organisations.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking, and influencing capabilities.
- Commercial acumen, collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-impact outcomes.
- Confidence in navigating complex conversations and applying data to guide decisions.
