About the Role

Magdalene Catholic College, Narellan is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science educator to join our collaborative team. As a Classroom Teacher - Science, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in Years 7-12.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
  • Contribute to the broader life of the College, supporting the Science Faculty and its initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Desirable Selection Criteria

  • Aptitude and willingness to contribute to the College's broader initiatives.
  • Ability to teach Religious Education would be an advantage.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching Science.
  • Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment.
  • Registration to teach with NESA.

Working with Children Clearance

This role requires a Working With Children Check prior to employment.
