Senior Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to take on a strategic leadership-focused position in our Brisbane office. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior insurance professional looking to progress into a leadership role or build on their current people management experience.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of diverse industry sectors and insurance solutions, with broad experience in commercial insurance broking across mid-market clients. They will be able to provide strategic broking advice and deliver exceptional service outcomes while building strong, enduring relationships with clients.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a key portfolio of mid-market commercial clients and identify opportunities for portfolio growth, client retention, and team development.
  • Coach, mentor, and engage a team including junior and senior broking staff to drive business success.
  • Work closely with national leadership to align with business goals and contribute to branch strategy through business development initiatives.
  • Lead by example in client meetings, internal training, and process improvement, promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism.

  • You will have Tier 1 qualifications with excellent stakeholder and client skills, as well as a strong commercial mindset focused on growth and retention outcomes.
  • You will be highly organised and proactive, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • You will have demonstrated capability in mentoring or team leadership, either formally or informally, and be committed to ongoing learning and development.
