About This Role

This role plays a vital part in our integrated stakeholder strategy. The successful candidate will develop and implement influential messaging for customers, as well as strategies to mitigate reputational risk.

The ideal candidate is a communications and engagement specialist who excels at creating clear, relevant, and engaging content for various stakeholders. They should thrive in fast-paced environments managing multiple programs simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement customer communication and engagement plans, including the development of materials such as eDMs, digital content, FAQs, team member briefings, and customer service scripts.
  2. Proactively develop and maintain strong internal relationships to collaborate and share knowledge ensuring an aligned and integrated approach to the way we communicate with customers.
  3. Address stakeholder issues and support solutions that meet business requirements and stakeholder and customer needs.
  4. Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with key external stakeholders in support of strategic aims.
  5. Contribute to the protection and enhancement of Australia Post's brand and reputation in conjunction with other teams.
About You

You must have experience in a similar role within a large complex corporate and/or government environment. It is essential to demonstrate experience in developing clear communications plans and materials for specific audiences.

You should be able to communicate complex information simply and possess a demonstrated understanding of political and regulatory environments.

A proven ability to mediate across multi-functional or multi-discipline teams is also required.
