Senior Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in securing our infrastructure by implementing technical security controls.

  • Critical services should have timely and effective coverage.
  • New security threats require prompt response and lead incident response and investigation of breaches.

The analyst ensures operational information security aligns with our policies, business requirements, and risk position. They champion the IT environment for all domains of security, focusing on both technical and business aspects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cyber threats must be proactively monitored, detected, and responded to.
  • Risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and remediation efforts should be coordinated and driven.
  • Cyber policies, incident response playbooks, and security frameworks should be developed and maintained.
  • Stakeholders must be advised and training conducted to elevate cyber awareness.
  • IT, Risk, and Compliance teams should collaborate to strengthen our first line of cyber defense.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience in cyber or information security is required.
  • Hands-on expertise with SIEM, EDR, incident response, vulnerability management, and cloud security is essential.
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are necessary.
  • Strong communication skills and organisational capabilities are crucial.
