The Role: Group Privacy and Compliance Manager

The Group Privacy and Compliance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance framework is robust and effective. This includes designing, implementing, and reviewing compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Strategy and Advisory: Develop and manage a compliance program aligned with regulatory requirements. Assess company operations to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Auditing: Regularly audit Probe Contact Solutions Australia Pty Ltd's compliance procedures and operational practices to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements.
  • Incident Response and Reporting: Monitor and manage compliance incident reports, leading investigations and ensuring appropriate corrective actions.
  • Licensing: Assist with license renewals, including debt collection licenses, and notify regulatory bodies of any relevant changes.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks in Probe Contact Solutions Australia Pty Ltd's business activities, regularly reviewing control measures.
  • ESG: Support Probe Contact Solutions Australia Pty Ltd's ESG strategy, focusing on data governance and compliance.

About You

We are seeking an experienced compliance professional with a strong background in privacy regulations. You will excel at identifying risks, implementing solutions, and managing compliance programs. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to explain complex concepts clearly and work collaboratively across teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum three years' experience in a compliance role with a focus on privacy compliance.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess risks and implement effective solutions.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of local, state, and national laws, standards, and codes, including privacy regulations.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to drive compliance initiatives and ensure timely execution.
  • Citizenship: Australian Citizenship.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of AUD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
