Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in fostering a data-driven culture, guiding a team of analytics professionals, and ensuring the integrity, quality, and governance of our data assets & visualization tools (predominantly Power BI).

  • Develop and maintain advanced data models to support analytics and reporting needs, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business requirements
  • Lead the delivery of analytics projects, provide actionable insights through data analysis and modelling to drive business decisions
Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing the framework for the Business Intelligence (BI) platform across On-Premises and Cloud environments
  • Managing and maintaining BI Application Servers to ensure the smooth operation of the analytics infrastructure
  • Mentoring team members in BI best practices, data modelling techniques, and tool usage to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Providing regular updates and reports to senior management on the usage, performance, and status of the BI platform, data models, and analytics initiatives
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, IT, or related field or equivalent significant practical experience
  • Relevant certifications in data analytics and BI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate)
  • Minimum 7 years in analytics, data modelling and BI platform management in a complex corporate environment
  • Expertise in designing and optimizing complex data models from a variety of data sources (Databricks, AWS, Azure etc)
  • Proficient in advanced analytics, including statistical analysis and predictive modelling
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Power BI and Tableau
