Job Description
Risk management professionals play a vital role in ensuring the financial stability of organizations by assessing and mitigating potential risks. As a Senior Liability Underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating liability insurance risks and developing strategies to minimize them.

Your Role
You will work closely with account management and business development teams to craft tailored coverage solutions for clients. Your expertise in general insurance underwriting will enable you to deliver exceptional customer service and responsiveness while managing complex liability portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply underwriting strategies to target markets and accounts within your area.
  • Underwrite liability insurance risks following guidelines and standards.
  • Support account management and procurement efforts by liaising with teams.
  • Mentor team members, provide guidance, and pursue personal development.
  • Manage the liability portfolio, including processing, credit management, documentation, and risk servicing.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience in general liability underwriting, risk management, liability broking, or related fields. Your knowledge of insurance legal and regulatory environments, as well as risk analysis, is essential. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.
