Risk Management Professional

Are you ready to lead and shape the risk management landscape of a dynamic organisation? We are seeking a strategic and hands-on professional to oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our risk management frameworks.
In this key leadership role, you'll work across the business to identify and mitigate risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and embed a strong governance culture. You'll be instrumental in driving initiatives that protect our organisation and support sustainable growth.
- Maintain, analyse and regularly review the risk register and develop responsive and proactive solutions for emerging risk mitigation.
- Develop and implement risk reporting for senior executives and the board risk committee to support effective decision making.
- Identify and detect potential threats to brand, reputation, financial sustainability and operational efficiency to fully understand the Institute's risk exposure.
- Assist managers across the Institute to meet compliance measures.
This position will be based in modern offices within Perth Children's Hospital, working on an ongoing, full-time basis.
About YouWe seek a confident and experienced professional with a deep understanding of risk management principles. You will hold a tertiary qualification in a related field, such as Risk Management, Law, Business Administration or a similar area.
- Proven experience in risk management is required, preferably in a complex or regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, governance frameworks and risk assessment methodologies is necessary.
- The ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities is essential.
- Proficiency in risk management systems, compliance tools and Microsoft Office Suite is desirable.
