Financial Crime Risk Management plays a crucial role in strengthening financial crime compliance across the organization.

Our Financial Crime team is responsible for driving effective implementation of risk management frameworks, procedures, and controls to meet regulatory and community expectations.

The team aims to provide better risk and compliance outcomes through control design and implementation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing control effectiveness within the Financial Crime team.
  • Developing and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team, identifying opportunities to optimize processes and streamline operations.
  • Ensuring adherence to standards for delivery and following policy and procedures.
  • Proactively identifying and reporting risks and applying sound risk management practices.
  • Building a high-performing team through coaching and mentoring.

Requirements include experience in operational risk management and compliance in banking, financial services, or law enforcement. Strong technical knowledge of financial crime risk management frameworks, expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), Sanctions, and other relevant areas, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, are necessary.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Operational risk management experience in banking, financial services, or law enforcement.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial crime risk management frameworks.
  • Expertise in AML/CTF, Sanctions, and ABC.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
