Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Risk Consultant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience in risk management and a passion for promoting awareness and responsibility within the organization.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the implementation and continuous improvement of our Risk Management Framework across the business. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing risk.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify, analyse, evaluate and manage risk exposures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support informed business decisions
  • Support ongoing risk management and control activities
  • Provide assurance over key controls and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to business improvement initiatives and support a mature and proactive risk culture
  • Maintain relevant policies and procedures, as well as the risk management information system
  • Assist with internal audit reviews and monitor the status of audit findings
  • Deliver risk management support, training and education across the business
  • Prepare and contribute to appropriate reporting for leadership teams and audit committees

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks
  • Experience in risk assessment, mitigation and remediation strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Skill in drafting and maintaining policies and procedures
  • Sound understanding of private health insurance regulatory requirements or experience in highly regulated industries
  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a risk-related role
