
Heavy Vehicle Operations Specialist

The role of Workshop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a heavy vehicle workshop. This includes ensuring safe management and optimal operation of the workshop, as well as maintaining vehicles to the highest standard.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage team members to foster a productive and positive work environment
- Coordinate staff training, rosters, and manage underperformance and disciplinary matters in conjunction with HR and senior management
- Manage workshop financials and administrative functions
- Maintain quality checks and routine vehicle service requirements
- Provide technical support to branch managers and coordinate major jobs in consultation with operational staff
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- NSSW Trade Licence
- Diagnostics ability and skillset to complete required repairs
- Minimum Class C Licence and/or willingness to obtain an HR Licence
- Previous management experience in the heavy vehicle industry
