**About the role**

Thiess Mount Pleasant Operation, located just outside of Muswellbrook, provides a great opportunity for you to expand your skills. We are sourcing a qualified Heavy Vehicle/ Diesel fitter preferably with a UHL, to calibrate and service the MPU and Stemming Trucks on the Blast Crew. This is a diverse role which will require maintenance on both heavy vehicles and hydraulic pumps. This role is located in Muswellbrook NSW, working a 5/4 Lifestyle 12 hour Day Shift roster.

**About you**
- Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic Certificate III Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or similar
- OR Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- OR Certificate III Automotive Diesel Engine Technology
- Unsupervised Handling Licence (UHL) highly desirable
- Post trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry
- Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, calibration and servicing of MR or HV Earthmoving equipment and hydraulic pumps
- Demonstrated experience with stemming trucks & MPU (Mobile Processing Units)
