Audiobook Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking an Audiobook Acquisitions Manager to join our Rights team. This role involves managing relationships with key agents, content providers, and publishers across the globe, negotiating commercial terms at a high level, and closing international deals on titles from the world's best authors.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in selling or buying rights, with a demonstrable track record of top acquisitions and sales. They will be a natural hunter with a can-do approach to acquisitions, thriving on building long-lasting partnerships that deliver incredible results.
As an Audiobook Acquisitions Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing relationships with key agents, content providers, and publishers across the globe
- Building and nurturing relationships with exclusive publishing partners
- Identifying and acquiring the best and most relevant titles for both the trade and library marketplaces
- Negotiating commercial terms at a high level
- Closing international deals on titles from the world's best authors
Market awareness, strong negotiation skills, and a relentless drive to succeed are essential qualities for this role. The successful candidate will also be conscientious, detail-oriented, and possess superior presentation, organisational, and administration skills.
