eResearch Advisory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced eResearch Advisory Manager to join our Digital Solutions team at Griffith University. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in enabling the University's research and innovation strategy by improving research capability, quality, and impact through the optimal use of enterprise and cloud ICT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team that provides specialist technology advice and training, delivers platforms of strategic benefit, and enhances products and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with other Heads and Product Managers across Digital Solutions to improve our products, frameworks, methods, and tools.
- Connect researchers across discipline boundaries to enhance collaboration and research outcomes.
- Develop and manage eResearch services to the University research community, including data management practices and maturity.
- Provide strategic advice to the university in the areas of eResearch infrastructure and initiatives.
- You will have a collaborative leadership style, with the ability to guide and coach a team of specialists to further develop capability and expertise in requirements gathering and analysis, project management, solution design, innovative problem solving, and strategic thinking.
- You will possess broad specialist knowledge across the range of research disciplines and the ability to quickly understand and solve complex problems.
- You will have a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislations and policies impacting research, data management, and cybersecurity.
- You will be solutions-driven, able to work with colleagues to define issues and collaborate to shape solutions.
- You will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
- A full-time, continuing opportunity based at our Nathan Campus.
- A HEW 10 salary of $136,062.69 + 17% super, with a full package of $159,159.25.
